Also, afterward we are doing a couple workshops and combining it with the first of Spring quarter meeting for Byte Club.

3:30 – 5 – Women Thriving in Male Dominated fields – by Betty Smith, Senior Engineer at Boeing 

Published author, expert consultant and experienced engineer Betty Smith will be speaking at Seattle Central on April 21, as part of Career Day sponsored by the Byte Club. Betty has over 35 years of aerospace engineering experience at every level, having worked on projects as diverse as safety, weapons, survivability, and future aircraft design. A decorated volunteer and executive director of national organizations, with degrees from several colleges and universities in a variety of subjects, Ms. Smith is delighted to bring her stories of resilience and success to audiences at Seattle Central, inspiring diversity, collaboration, and accountability in the workplace.
